MaiMed® MyClean AD is a ready-to-use, alcohol- and aldehyde-free solution for disinfecting wipe-resistant surfaces. It stands out for its fast drying time and high material compatibility, even with acrylic glass. The solution has bactericidal (including MRSA), levurocidal, tuberculocidal and limited virucidal PLUS activity (effective against enveloped viruses, e.g. HIV, HBV, HCV, influenza viruses and coronaviruses (SARS-CoV-2 + VOC)).
Application
MaiMed® MyClean AD is ideal for the disinfection and cleaning of alginate, silicone and polyether impressions. It is particularly suitable for disinfecting wipe-resistant surfaces of non-invasive medical devices and surfaces in medical settings, the food industry, public facilities and industrial environments. It is not suitable for instrument surfaces or semi-critical and critical medical devices.
Remove any visible dirt before cleaning and disinfection. Rinse the impression material carefully under running water (5–10 seconds) and then immerse it in the prepared disinfectant solution for at least 10 seconds. Ensure that the entire model is submerged. Gently move the impression back and forth in the solution to ensure that all cavities are completely wetted. Carefully remove the impression from the disinfectant solution and allow it to soak for at least 1 minute. Then rinse the impression with drinking-quality water and allow it to dry.
