MaiMed® film is a breathable, transparent roll plaster that is ideal for covering and protecting wounds or catheters. The dressing provides a waterproof barrier that allows the skin to breathe and moisture to escape, thereby minimising the risk of skin irritation. The hypoallergenic adhesive layer ensures secure fixation without placing unnecessary strain on the skin. The latex-free, hypoallergenic material is particularly gentle on the skin and ensures a high level of comfort, even for sensitive skin. Thanks to the transparent film, the wound remains visible, allowing easy monitoring of the healing process.
Application
Ideal for covering non-infected, minor wounds, cuts and grazes, or for securing compresses, bandages, venous catheters, cannulas, feeding tubes, tracheostomy tubes, drains, as well as probes and wound dressings. The dressing adheres securely to the skin, offering protection against water, bacteria and other external influences, whilst allowing flexible freedom of movement. The transparent film dressing is ideal for use in hospitals, doctors’ surgeries or at home.
