MaiMed® MK X-ray are high‑quality, non-sterile gauze compresses made from 100% cotton, featuring an integrated X‑ray contrast thread. After prior sterilisation, they are specifically intended for use in surgically invasive procedures in the operating theatre. Manufactured from 17‑thread medical gauze, these compresses offer high absorbency, softness and skin‑friendliness. The folded, tucked cut edges provide additional safety during surgical interventions.
Application
Intended for use, after prior sterilisation, in surgically invasive procedures in the operating theatre. The X‑ray contrast thread enables easy localisation of the compresses within the body using radiographic imaging. These compresses are used in hospitals during surgical procedures for the absorption of blood and bodily fluids.
