MaiMed® MKS are high-quality gauze slit compresses made from 100% cotton. They are particularly soft, absorbent and versatile in use. These 17‑thread gauze compresses provide effective wound care and are ideal for cleaning, covering and padding wounds. Thanks to their strong absorbency, they support the healing process and help maintain a clean wound environment. The compresses are available in various sizes and, due to their multilayer folding, offer excellent shape stability. They can be easily secured with plasters or fixation bandages.
Application
Primarily used for external wound care, and for covering drains and cannulas. They are suitable for wound cleansing, as absorbent pads for exuding wounds or as carriers for ointment dressings. The non-sterile version is ideal for less critical applications or when combined with additional sterilisation. These gauze slit compresses are suitable for use in hospitals, nursing facilities and home care.
