MaiMed® Pad sterile is a sterile absorbent pad made from a multi-layer non-woven fabric and a highly absorbent layer of cellulose. This combination ensures particularly high absorption of wound secretions while providing gentle, secure wound protection. The hydrophobic outer layer stops liquids from penetrating, reliably protecting the wound from external influences.
Application
For the treatment of heavily exuding wounds, ideal for covering post-operative wounds or for the care of chronic wounds that require high absorbency. Thanks to the sterile packaging, the absorbent pad can be applied directly to the wound, ensuring hygienic and safe wound management. Suitable for use in hospitals, care facilities and home care settings.
