Application
Gauze swabs are highly versatile and ideal for use in hospitals, medical practices and care homes. They can be used for disinfecting and cleaning wounds, as an absorbent intermediate layer in dressings, or as protection during minor procedures. The soft texture of the swabs is gentle on the skin and helps reduce irritation. They are suitable for external wound care, wound cleansing, blood absorption and the absorption of secretions, as well as for skin disinfection in outpatient clinics and on wards.
The non-sterile gauze swabs can be sterilised using a suitable method.
